Wow.... I seriously tried getting into Diaryland like 5 times wondering if my account was shut down til I realized I was using a very old user name for another site years ago. LOLOL Losing my mind perhaps?
I don't even know the last time I entered anything, but I'm still on the weightloss train. I still have a little over 10lbs to get to my goal (145) but I'm starting to think that possibly I won't get there until I get back to the gym. I love running and of course I'm active all day, every day, but I need to start working on a little more upper body strength.
So that may happen next week. I have a physical therapy session to begin on Monday, May 14th for a shoulder injury. After I see what they'll have me doing to strengthen my rotator cuff, then possibly I'll join a gym up the road. But hell, if insurance is paying for 20 weeks at physical therapy, I'll do that first, then join. Ha!
Next week is Florida. I need to go back and check my prior Florida entries to remind myself what to bring to our condo. LOL I know we go every year, but every year, I forget what we need to keep us from running out to buy one. I will say these trips to Florida are wayyyyyy much nicer now that they are less than 6 hours away. :) Plus we like to stay at some random beach resort the day before..... to feel a little sand in our toes before Disney.
So that's that. What else.
What else.
Oh yeah....I have a grandbaby coming in September. A baby girl. She is named Savannah, but my daughter and son-in-law are working on the middle name. I've thrown out Harper and Lorene, but at her sonogram this week the little hippie was throwing up peace signs. So now I'm thinking Savannah Rain. Hahahaha.... Actually I kinda like it. Like f'realz.
Oh and this weekend May 12th is my oldest daughter's 23rd birthday and her boyfriend, Caleb, is proposing. Weeeeee.... I get another son-in-law this year!!
Oh and back in January, we kinda adopted another daughter, Hannah. She is 18, turning 19 in July. She'll be living with us after high school while she's going to College locally. We got through Prom a few weekends ago, now graduation and trying to squeeze in as many road trips as possible before she starts College. Not sure how all that is going to go, but we'll see. She's 18, but she's also lived a very sheltered life, so she's not exactly a very independent teenager. She is very intelligent, but lacks common sense and experience. I would say about the mentality (when it comes to life) of a 14 or 15 year old even. It's our mission to get her more experienced and begin thinking about living life as an adult, which technically she has been for almost a year. Complicated. And it doesn't help that she's so petite and very fair, so she looks like she's 14. LOL.
Some day she'll be thankful for that.
So that's about it. A quick entry. A quick update. And....I'm out.
