I'll be approaching week 16 on Tuesday. Hard to believe I still have 24 more weeks to go, lol.
My belly is starting to get tighter (still pooched out)and so are my clothes.
Sam and I bought a few looser pants and found a couple of new shirts to hold me over till I'm officially in maternity clothes.
I will wait till after my 16 week check up before I mention this to my office. One, because I don't consider myself "scott free" of losing the baby yet and TWO, it means I have to share something personal with these people. I keep everything on the surface and make it a point not to tell them anything about my life. I save that for people I like, hehe.
The funniest one is Shawn. I tell her bits and pieces of useless information and any time my ex does something without using his head, but that's about it. She pretends to be friendly whether or not she really feels that way is beyond me. And I really don't care. I can't see keeping in contact with her after I leave this place - unlike my other offices. :)
Speaking of which - after I told Sam about last week's childish statements from Jerr we both decided I wouldn't give up civil service status to go back and work for him. I'd still consider something administratively, but definitely nothing in finance. Paul and Brion are fine to work for. I knew I'd be pushing it thinking I could work under Anne anyway. I suspect it would turn into another Elaine/Linda situation.
So on another note, my mom's phone was shut off. I have no way to call her except through Ruby. Too bad -now I'll have to wait till I see her next time to tell her the good news. I've only told a handful of people and only ONE from here.
If my aunt calls me any time soon I'll likely tell her...or maybe let it be a surprise the next time she talks to mom, hehe.
Last night our neighbor said they are replacing their tramboline with a new one. So we are getting their old one - the girls will LOVE that. They play on theirs all the time anyway.
Plus we'll be putting in a 3 foot pool this summer (above ground) but I think the girls will definitely enjoy both the tramboline and the pool. Hopefully they don't get the bright idea to jump from the tramboline onto the other...eeeak! We'll space them well enough apart I suppose.
We did manage to get the baby room cleaned out this weekend. Brain (sam's brother) comes in from LA this weekend with his wife Melissa. Hopefully we'll be able to get out to Lori's tomorrow to pick up the full size bed to switch with Sarah's. That'll make everyone happy - I hope.
Well that's about it for updates right now.
Later.
