Date night was a blast. We started off with Happy Hour with my friends from JNET. Awesome time. But since I didn't have anything to eat yet the two beers I had were causing a bit of a buzz. We had to leave.
So we headed out to Gia's for dinner. this place used to be THRIVING when it was under the previous ownership, but something has gone wrong....there was ONE person there when we walked in. We each chugged a bottle of beer and left. Sam even left the waitress a 100% tip, lol.
We headed to Gullifty's - dinner was excellent. I had Inner Harbor Chicken - Chicken breast with crab cake on top. Sam had the Grilled Salmon - Terrayaki. They were both incerdibly yummy.
After dinner I was feeling sleepy and ready to just call it a night and snuggle up. But Sam was rearing to go, so I suggested Snapper's. I'm always going to be a fan of that place seeing as to how its the first place we've ever been together when we began dating. Awwwww - special! :)
So we got there and saw Joe (Curt's friend) was setting up his DJing equipment. We found the only table left was right on the dance floor - not a problem. I didn't bring in my purse but remembering from past experiences, this is the MOST convenient spot to have for your drinks so you don't have to stop dancing. hehe - perfect!!!
Joe began playing some good music and Sam and I of course, got out and began dancing. This is just "our" thing. Its funny that I used to dance with John and enjoyed doing so, but with Sam its really a provacative thing.... like foreplay, like like .... getting sexed up!! hehe
So naturally on-lookers began to stare and many more girls came to the dance floor and joined in. Two usuals were there and they were fun. We noticed a blonde lady and dark haired man watching. I invited them to set their drinks on our table and we began chatting.
They weren't even a couple. They just happened to be here from out of town on business. They worked for Amazon.com. He was married, with twins on the way (boys) - his name was Adam. She was probably around late 40's with two children in their 20's and a teen-ager. I can't remember her name, lol.
Anyway - they both thought sam and I were out having an affair with each other. HE even said he thought I was a cougar trying to land a young guy!! LOL - GULP!! and here I thought I was over the age gap between us! The cool thing is that they couldn't believe we were married because the lust between us was amazing... hehe. Its nice to know we still have it!
Friday I came to work with smiles, but was only here for an hour and half when the daycare called to say Sammy was sick. The bitch Sherry at daycare called and said ....in such a nasty tone...: Your SON has had 3 diarhea diapers and is fussy and not eating anything. YOU need to come get him within the hour!!! WTF?? i was like - what the hell? what is your problem.... I seriously just looked at the phone trying to see if I should respond or just hang up...!!! LOL. I just quietly said that is not a problem. I'll be there soon.
Poor baby really was sick too - but he was fine when we dropped him off. This needs to be brought to the attention of the director - that woman rubs me the WRONG way!!! Grrrrr!!!!
Okay - so the weekend was good. We almost finsihed the Coyl's deck. I cleaned Jen's kitchen and help the girls clean their rooms. I didn't get ANY of my cleaning done which sucks, but maybe this week. Personally...I'm tired of doing everything alone.
Gotta go...
